Despite poor showing by the Black stars of Ghana in their international friendly at the RFK stadium last week which ended 1-1 saw some exciting performances by the debutantes who made their first cap for the team.
Phil Ofosu Ayeh of Eintracht Braunschweig came in as a substitute for Harrison Afful in the second half and made an impressive impact with his runs to support the attack and recovering back to the defense.
Phil was very impressive and looks likely to succeed Harrison Afful or might even give competition for the right back position in the future.

Kwadwo Poku of New York City FC was a delight to watch. Just lasting 10 minutes on the pitch the lad was very fantastic with his accurate passes, steady runs and dribbling skills.
His presence was felt everywhere whilst he also took up the mantle when the stars needed a push in the dying minutes of the game.
He is one who has clearly justified himself and deserves a call up in subsequent matches for the Black stars.
Lloyd Sam’s partnership with Phil Ofosu-Ayeh on the wing was very commendable as the duo operated effectively with good understanding and delivering some crosses into the 18 yard box in which one of the crosses was missed by Abdul Majeed Warris which could have secured the winner for the stars late in the game.
With these high performances against a minnow side such as Canada,  fans will be expecting more especially in high profile matches when these debutantes gets call up into the black stars for the world cup qualifiers.
Black stars will play Comoros Island in the second round of the 2018 FIFA World cup qualifiers in November, 2015.
With high performances against a minnow side such as Canada, these performances we hope will be translated into high profile matches when these debutants get calls up into the black stars for the world cup qualifiers next month.
