All Stars shatter Hearts unbeaten run

Accra Hearts of Oak have their first defeat of the season, losing by a humiliating 3-1 margin to Wa All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday.
The defeat also saw Wa All Stars toppling Hearts from the top of the table with 14 points from six matches.
Coach Kenichi’s side were unbeaten in five consecutive matches until yesterday’s defeat at home.
Kwaku Asuanzie, Richard Arthur and Emmanuel Ocran got on the score sheet for Wa All Stars whilst substitute Musah Ibrahim got the consolation goal for the Phobians
Elsewhere at the Karl Reindolf stadium, Liberty Professionals walloped defending champions AshantiGold 5-1 in a match that saw the ‘Scientific Soccer Lads’ put up one of their best showings in recent times.
Latif Blessing got a brace on the day with Edward Ebo- Mends, Simon Zibo and Bernard Arthur getting the others for Liberty and Anthony Yerful getting the consolation for AshantiGold.
Dreams FC continued their fairytale story in the season as they won at home against the ‘Academy Boys’ WAFA at the Dawu Park. Lawson Bekui got the only goal for the Dawu boys.
At the Tarkwa and Aboso Park Medeama recorded a win against Bechem United by 2-0. Abass Mohammed and Kwesi Donsu won the three maximum points for their side.
Last Saturday, at the Cape Coast Stadium, coach Sarpong’s Ebusua Dwarfs defeated International Allies by 3-1. Nicholas Gyan, Samuel Quayson and Bright Lukman were on the score sheet for Dwarfs whilst Emmanuel Ocran got the only goal for Inter Allies.
Meanwhile, ‘Porcupine Warriors’ Asante Kotoko are firmly anchored at the bottom of the table following their 1-0 loss to Aduana Stars at the Oseadeyo Agyeman Badu II Stadium.
