Micheal Osei deserves Kotoko job

A remarkable performance by interim manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Michael Osei puts him into the limelight to be the substantive head coach of the Porcupine Warriors as he took over the club in the absence of suspended coach David Duncan.
After David Duncan  sidelined by the management team of Asante Kotoko after abysmal performance displayed in the on-going 2015/2016 Ghana Premier league.
Assistant Coach Michael Osei has turned things around for the Porcupine Warriors with the most land mark victory since his take-over been the 1-0 win against eternal rivals Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports stadium in match day ten in the on-going Ghana Premier League.
Kotoko are now just four points adrift with Accra Hearts of Oak on the league log.
In his past seven matches in charged he has won five, draw one and lost one (P7 W5 D1 L1) which is very remarkable considering how the club was struggling earlier in the season.
Tactically he has proven to be a master piece with his tactics and the players are playing whole heartedly for their manager unlike under the Duncan era.
Even as an assistant manager for the club he won the first ever G6 pre-season tournament held at the Essipong Sports stadium when he was left in-charge of the team as the other squad travelled to Libya with David Duncan.
Under Coach Didi Dramani he won the 2013/2014 MTN FA Cup when he was in charge and also during the team’s pre-season First Trust G-6 tournament he won the tournament for Kotoko.
Even as an assistant manager of the club he has won laurels for the clubs and that makes him very competent for the job with his coaching studies in Germany as well as a former player of the club who knows the traditions of the team.
Juxtaposing his situation is like that of Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane. However Assistant Coach Michael Osei is yet to be made the substantive coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Our findings have shown that some section of the fans is rallying behind him to be considered for the head coach position by management and the board.
