Azumah Nelson,HeMann Promotions to stage VIP Boxing Fight Night

Azumah Nelson Foundation in collaboration with HeMann Boxing Promotions, will stage the first ever VIP boxing fight at the Kempinski Gold Coast-City Hotel on Saturday, June 11,2016.

The night dubbed “Bringing Ghanaian boxing back to its glory days,’ will feature boxers from the continent and beyond.

The legendary Boxing Hall of famer Professor Azumah Nelson, who is a key figure in this promotion, said boxing in the country is dwindling and he hopes this event will be a turning point for the sport.

He added that there are a lot of talents in the country and this medium will showcase these talents and prepare them for the world stage.

Representative of HeMann Promotions, Sidiq Banda noted that this initiative is aimed at bringing boxing to the next level, adding that it is belief that the event will change face of boxing in Ghana Boxing Association. (GBA)

Peter Zwenes thanked HeMann Promotions,Multi-choice and Kempinski Hotel for collaborating to stage this fight.

The fight will be broadcast in 53 countries by SuperSport at an enclosed venue with VIP attendees.
