PLAYERS TO WATCH OUT IN THE 2015/2016 GHANA PREMIER LEAGUE

Finder Sports through our opinion polls has gathered a list of players to watch out when the season gets underway on Saturday, February 20, 2016.
  1. Latif Blessing- Liberty Professionals

The exceptional and talented kid unveiled himself last season with some beautiful football. Latif is tipped by many to be a national star and much will be expected of him. A prospect for the future and he is set and ready to explode in the upcoming season.
2.Samudeen Ibrahim- Accra Hearts of Oak

Samudeen Ibrahim was named Best Player in the Division League last season after being adjudged man of match six times in the 2014/2015 season. Samu won the eight most valuable player awards and scored four goals while assisting over 20 goals He joined the Accra giants from Division one side King Solomon.
3.Bennet Ofori- Kumasi Asante Kotoko
Bennett Ofori
The highly rated midfielder joined the porcupine warriors from Berekum Chelsea. Moreover his skills and qualities exhibited last season for the Berekum club saw him move to local giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko and much is expected of him as this young chap has a lot of potential.
4. . Richard Akrofi- Accra Hearts of Oak

He is ready to marshall the defence alongside Captain Robin Gnage in the upcoming season. He has been tipped to solve the defensive problems of Accra Hearts of Oak.
 5. Eric Opoku – Ashanti Gold
Eric Opoku
The AshGold captain was adjudged the Most Valuable Player in the 2014/2015 Ghana Premier league season. A lot will be expected from the captain since he will be ready to prove to the fans why he was adjudged the best player as he also leads his side to defend the league title and play in Africa.
6.Samuel Tetteh WAFA
Samuel Tetteh
The former Black Satellite player was very impressive for WAFA last season helping them to place 10th in the league. He earned a call up to the Black Stars of Ghana in a nation’s cup qualifier against Mauritius. An attacking midfielder who is able to take on his defenders and a future prospect for the senior national soccer team. Samuel Tetteh will definitely be a player to watch in the upcoming season.
7. Joe FameyehWA All Stars

The highly rated youngster had stupendous performances for Division One side Asokwa Deportivo and moved on transfer deadline to WA All Stars. The young striker earned a call up and scored a brace for the local Black Stars in the CHAN qualifiers against the local Elephants of Cote D’Ivoire. He was the most sought out player in the transfer market. Fameyeh scored about 29 goals in the GN Bank Division One Zone 2.
8. Isaac Twum- Inter Allies

Twum joined Tema based side Internatonal Allies from relegated side Kpando Hearts of Lions. A very talented lad who has a bright future and will be a danger to clubs in the coming season.
9. Yaya Mohammed – Aduana Stars

The former Kotoko and Inter Allies player will be making his comeback after he left the scene to ply his trade with a Libyan club in the 2013/2014 season. A popular name in the Ghana Premier League circles Yaya Mohammed will be hoping to revive his career and this season presents a clear opportunity for him
